Where are we America - divided, hostile, uncaring, greedy, self-centered, arrogant, impatient, partisan, lacking respect for others whose views differ from ours, seeing the last hours versus the lifetime of a person, homophobic, anti to be anti, not willing to share, not willing to care
I'd like these ideas/emotions to be wrong but......if each of us looks at himself.....some of these qualities will surface....and that is OK, if we reassess and see that we should all want the same things for our fellow human beings, while caring about the enviornment, the animals and plants that feed and nurture us.
Truly, there is much more to care about than just ourselves.
It's the heart of what all religions speak - start with love and move out from there.
